The Women’s World Floorball Championships return to the Czech Republic after 12 years when the 15th Women’s World Floorball Championships will be played in Brno and Ostrava from 6th – 14th December 2025. The 2025 event takes place in the same venues as the 2013 contest.
QUALIFICATIONS
In total, 29 teams registered for the tournament – 19 from Europe, 8 from Asia Oceania, and 2 from the Americas.
Czechia is the only team that receives direct qualification. All other teams will participate in regional qualifications being played in early 2025. The two European qualification events will take place from 29th January – 1st February 2025 in Italy and Latvia. The EUR1 event in Latvia will be played in Valmiera, while EUR2 will be hosted in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy . From 8th – 10th March 2025, Austin, TX will host the AMER qualification and AOFC will be played in Singapore from 18th – 22nd March 2025.

PLAYING SYSTEM
The final round will be played with 16 teams divided into four groups.
In the group stage each team plays each other once, while the second stage includes play-offs and placement matches. The two best teams of group A and B go directly to the quarter final. Teams placed 3rd and 4th in group A and B and the teams placed 1st and 2nd in group C and D make it to the first play-off round (played before the quarter finals).
